Thank you for using DeployGate.

We’ve updated the document site, which has various guides on how to use DeployGate.

Background

DeployGate has always provided a document site that contained various help articles, including API reference guides and information about how to use DeployGate.

However, the document site was insufficiently maintained and incomplete, with many topics unaddressed. Additionally, our third-party service provider’s limitations meant that we couldn’t provide adequate support in different languages. For example, the search function failed to return relevant search results in English.

To address all of these issues, we’ve updated the document site to be more user-friendly while also making it more accessible in multiple languages, including English.

Furthermore, we reorganized the document site so that each fundamental topic on how to use DeployGate has its own page. For example, there’s a page on installation, another on using the different distribution methods, and separate pages for each distribution method.

You can access the new document site from the following URL. Please note that it uses the same domain as the previous document site.

From user guides to API reference guides

The new document site has a robust collection of guides on how to use DeployGate. You can learn about registering for a DeployGate account, managing apps, distributing apps, and more. We also have documents that testers can refer to when using DeployGate to install a distributed app. You can incorporate these guides into your own manuals and procedures.

We also have guides and examples for the APIs, which allow users to easily use DeployGate. Please use these for CI or any operations that you would like to automate.

Future: More Content

At this time, we discussed the document site’s updates.

With these updates, the document site is now more user-friendly. It contains guides and documents that cover most features, and we will continue to add more content as our service offerings evolve.

Future Plans

As discussed in this post, DeployGate continues to make small improvements to work towards updating our overall services while being mindful of minimizing disruptions to our users.

Your feedback is invaluable, as it helps us to improve our services. If you have requests, comments, or concerns about our services, please use #deploygate on Twitter or contact us.

Thank you for your continued support of DeployGate.
